Joseph Boufadel Named to American Bankruptcy Institute's 2024 "40 Under 40" List of Emerging Leaders in the Insolvency Practice


ABI is pleased to announce that Joseph Boufadel of Salvato Boufadel LLP has been named as an honoree of the American Bankruptcy Institute's (ABI) prestigious "40 Under 40" Emerging Leaders in Insolvency Practice list.

This distinguished recognition identifies 40 emerging leaders in the insolvency profession nationwide each year who demonstrate remarkable legal ability, leadership, and commitment to the bankruptcy and restructuring field. Recipients are chosen from a competitive pool of nominees from across the country.

As a Certified Specialist in Bankruptcy Law from the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization, Joseph focuses his practice on business and bankruptcy litigation, with particular emphasis on creditors' rights and remedies. His experience spans a wide range of complex matters—both in federal and state court—including fraudulent transfer litigation, breach of fiduciary duty matters, corporate-business disputes, business divorces, and related appeals in California and before the Ninth Circuit.

Joseph also serves as a board member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and is an executive committee member and vice chair of Member Services for the Business Law Section of the California Lawyer’s Association.
